Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965) is an American actress. Her most well-known work is her role as the deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received an Emmy Award in 2010 and an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her performance as Johnson. The series ended on August 13, 2012, after the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also famous for her role as a regular on Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's solos (1992) as well as Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald, a speech and family therapist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV, a venture capitalist. Sedgwick declares herself Jewish, and she has stated that she is a participant in Passover seders.
