Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born on April 18, 1967, in America is an actor, producer, writer, and director. Her film credits include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013), and Lights Out (2016). On television, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well as other starring roles including as Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013, as Michelle McBride on the first season of the series Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 through 2021 as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane in the series NCIS. Bello was born in Norristown to Kathy Bello and Joe Bello. In the seventh grade at Villanova University, she majored in political science. Bello learned to act in a variety of New York theater productions following her graduation. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son who is named Jackson. Bello admitted in November of 2013 that she was having an affair of the same kind with Clare Munn, her former partner. The book she published was titled Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we assign to ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 2015.).
